I have uninstalled SetPoint. Judging from what I've observed via Process Explorer, both SetPoint and that winmail.exe thing were interfering with my PC's ability to go into hibernation after a certain period of inactivity.

Scott, check this out. Yes, Scott, I have both winmail.exe and SetPoint. I'm thinking about uninstalling SetPoint.

I've installed a newer version of the WIDCOMM Bluetooth software. I am currently using it with Logitech SetPoint 6.61. Things are OK now. Without going into too much detail, let me say that I would not recommend SetPoint 6.65.

Scott, is there any good way to reinstall the software? I ask because I've been having problems with Logitech SetPoint lately. I have used SetPoint with Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser . Unfortunately, SetPoint apparently doesn't accept passkeys anymore from my wireless keyboard ...

The Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser things generally seem to work OK without Logitech SetPoint. However, SetPoint offers features not provided by the native Windows XP Professional stuff. I had issues concerning the latest version of SetPoint, which I have uninstalled.

Scott, I removed the SetPoint software from Logitech that I had installed on the computer, and the problem seemed to go away.

I reinstalled SetPoint, but there were two instances of the system locking up. One of them involved the kind of scenario I have described. I have since uninstalled SetPoint, and I yet to have a similar problem again. Another problem I have had seems to be unrelated.

FatGuy, I've just updated the BIOS. Should I reinstall Logitech SetPoint right away, or should I stick with the non-wireless keyboard and mouse for a while and see what happens?

Well, it doesn't lock up every single time after coming out of a "sleep" state. I've uninstalled Logitech SetPoint. I'm currently using a USB keyboard along with a PS/2 mouse. Let's see what happens.

I'll uninstall SetPoint and stick with a non-wireless mouse and keyboard for a time. Got any other ideas, Scott?
