Hi Scott,

My PC seems to reboot intermittently usually while watching a video on Youtube, but at other times without warning. I get the blue screen of death and I have to re boot manually . I have attached a screen shot . I would be grateful for a reply.

Thank you

Paul

If you made a recent change to the system such as new/updated drivers or hardware then that may be the cause. If not then most likely one or more of the system files are corrupt. You'll find more information here: https://neosmart.net/wiki/irql-not-less-or-equal/

Let me know what the problem/solution turns out to be. Scott.

Hi Scott,

I followed the instructions referring to disabling Microsoft services in selective start up and re booted by PC. It seems to have stabilized my system and I noticed the desk top icons have stopped refreshing as they did previously. I also looked at the software from Neosmart and may get a copy.

Many thanks

Paul
