Hi Scott,
I found an interesting article today:

Hopefully most have already failed by now but it's still something to keep in mind while diagnosing older computers.

I actually covered this problem in detail in one of the segments on the DVD included with URPCs 20th ed. So far I've repaired motherboards, gigabit switches, and audio amplifiers in powered speakers by replacing defective capacitors. Scott.

I might have to try that on my ICR-7000 receiver. The display is dead and sometimes it has problems booting. Probably both PSU and display board caps.
