Scott and Mike, good morning.
Decided on their own to find a configuration for a home computer. Please see. I would really appreciate your comments and recommendations.
When choosing accessories, choosing the most reliable and compatible components:
     1. Chipset-Intel ® H77 Express http://www.intel.ru/content/www/ru/ru/c ... -h77.html;
     2. The central processor - Intel ® Core ™ i3-3225 Processor
(3M Cache, 3.30 GHz) with integrated graphics Intel ® HD Graphics 4000 - http://ark.intel.com/ru/products/65692/ ... e-3_30-GHz ;
     2a. Or sufficiently inexpensive processor-Intel Pentium G2130, 3.20GGts, 3MB, LGA1155, BOX-http :/ / ark.intel.com/products/71052/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G2130-3M-Cache-3_20-GHz, as computer will be used for the Internet, Skype, and viewing HD video, not games.
     3. Motherboard - MSI ZH77A-G43 http://ru.msi.com/product/mb/ZH77A-G43.html
     4. RAM-DIMM DDR3, 4GB, PC3-12800, 1600MHz, Samsung, Original (4GB x 1) http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/251561;
     5. Hard drive - HDD 1TB, Western Digital Caviar Black, WD1002FAEX - http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/194409;
     6. DVD ± RW + CD / RW ASUS DRW-24B5ST, SATA, Retail, black;
     7. Power supply ATX 430W Corsair CX 430, Active PFC, 12 cm fan, CP-9020046-EU, Retail; http://www.corsair.com/builder-series-c ... upply.html
     8.Korpus Corsair Carbide Series 200R, CC-9011023-WW, MidiTower, ATX, black http://www.corsair.com/en/carbide-serie ... -case.html.
     8a. Or cheaper housing with integrated power supply - ASUS TA-B41, MidiTower, ATX, 450W, black and silver. Here is the link: http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/157371. True power supply and housing company Corsair better.
     9. Operating system Windows 7 Home Basic SP1 64-bit Russian. http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/226009.
Approximate cost $ 607 USD, and if you use: Intel Pentium G2130 and housing with built-in power supply - ASUS TA-B41, MidiTower, ATX, 450 Watts. will be cheaper - 496 dollars. USA.
Please tell me how best to proceed. Dear Scott, thank you for the book. Sincerely, Eugene Katasonov. Russia, Mytishchi. Translated by Google Translate.

I think you made some excellent well-researched selections, and I agree with just about all of them. I only have a few additional comments or recommendations:

Quote:
4. RAM-DIMM DDR3, 4GB, PC3-12800, 1600MHz, Samsung, Original (4GB x 1) http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/251561;

I would recommend a minimum of 8GB of RAM for starters. Optionally you could increase that to 16GB in the future, depending on whether you have an actual need for it.

I do think the Corsair case and power supply are superior, so I would recommend those over the ASUS combination.

Quote:
9. Operating system Windows 7 Home Basic SP1 64-bit Russian. http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/226009.

I recommend the Windows 7 Professional edition over all of the other editions (including Ultimate). That is because the Professional edition has numerous desirable (or even necessary) features that are missing from the lesser Home editions, while the Ultimate edition adds nothing that most people would ever need or use.

Thanks for the kind words about my book. I wish you well on your build, and welcome to the forum! Scott.
