How can you tell when these solid cap capacitors fail? With the liquid ones we've had for years easy to see when they buldge/leak. Is there any visable way to tell when the *better* ones fail?

Evan

I don't think the solid caps fail much, and if they do there is no visible way to tell other than perhaps seeing one burnt from a short circuit. Scott.

I haven't seen any personally*, but I have no problem believing they exist!

*I don't think you'll see them on boards from mfrs. like MSI, Gigabyte or Intel.

Scott.
