Hello. We are building a custom PC for "Livestream" a website that does live streaming.

http://www.livestream.com/userguide/?ti ... quirements

The system requirements call for an i7-2600 Quad Core or better CPU.

It's been awhile since I've been CPU shopping. Aren't these "better"?

Or

I'm assuming so because they are i7-4770 and i7-3770K which is higher than the 2600, but, I don't want to be deceived by the number.

Thanks in advance.

You can see a relative comparison between the performance of those CPUs here. From those charts you can see that the i7-4770 and i7-3770K are both faster and a better value than the i7-2600. Scott.

Thanks very much Scott.

I thought so, but, in searching, I could not really find much.
