According to Leo Laporte, laptops and destop computers are steadily losing market share to mobil devices like tablets and smart phones. What's the current state of ARM vs Atom cpu's these days? Or has some other architecture beaten them? Thanks.

I'd say that desktop and laptop computers (PCs) are only losing marketshare to people that didn't really need them in the first place. Which admittedly is the majority of people. You don't need a PC to browse the web or send simple emails, however there are still many people who use computers to do real work using high-end office, engineering, media or creative applications, and to do that they need full blown PCs. I think the market is going through a bit of a reality check or reset, but real PCs will be around for a long time to come. Scott.
