 Post subject: my desktop computer keeps rebooting over and over

y computer keeps rebooting itself over and over after the post test and sometimes after the windows xp screens.

The first thing I suspect in that type of situation is the power supply. What happens when you replace it with a known-good spare? Scott.

I have Not yet try replacing it with a no good 1

does the chip-set get hot on the PC board? when I touch my computer chip-set it's hot.

Chipsets do normally get hot, in fact some require heatsinks. Scott.
