That may be as simple as cleaning out dust, relocating cables or components that may be interfering with airflow, or replacing a failed fan. If the system is clean, has good airflow and all fans are operating properly then you may be able to improve cooling by installing a more powerful fan, reworking the vents, relocating components, etc. Scott.
