In this YouTube video, Christopher Barnatt predicts that traditional HDDs will eventually become obsolete.

"Eventually" is an ambiguous enough amount of time to make that a certainty. On the other hand "imminent" describes a much shorter amount of time which would make that false.

Given a long enough amount of time I predict *everything* will become obsolete. <g>
