My dad's usual desktop PC is an HP SignagePlayer mp8200. The PC has a good VGA interface and a defective DisplayPort interface. My dad has told me that he needs more than one monitor due to issues he has encountered via Ancestry.com. Would Dualview work OK with a VGA interface? Would my dad be better off using a different desktop PC?

Windows Dual View should work on any PC with two or more simultaneously functional video ports including VGA. If the system in question has only a single functional video port than another would need to be added, which may not be worthwhile. Scott.

It doesn't help matters that the HP SignagePlayer mp8200 PC utilizes proprietary form-factor stuff.
