Scott, I'm going to be getting a new external enclosure to do some back ups. I may get a SSD drive to go in it. Thinking of Not sure about the ssd, but I figure I can find a pretty good deal on a 2.5 inch that I can put in the enclosure. I'll just be doing back ups of my wifes pc and mine on this. So it doesn't have to be very large. I want to use an SSD for faster back up times. My wife's pc uses a traditional HDD and I have an SSD in mine.

Her pc is older so I can just use the USB 2.0 ports for backup and mine has USB 3.0.

That SSD is fine but it will be throttled to less than the speed of a standard HDD if connected via USB 2.0. Scott.

Well at least it'll be fast on my PC. I'd rather not get an HDD for back up. I could always get something like for .
