Scott, I found this ram. The site seems to sell extremely cheaply priced electronics. Not just Ram. In the description of the ram it says it is only for Amd based motherboards. I thought Ram went by certain standards set by JDEC. Have you heard of RAM that only works on certain chipsets?. If you take a look at the reviews a lot of them are bad, but then again a lot of them are good. Another thing is it seems that sometimes they ship the ram in plastic sandwich bags!. Isn't that going to cause ESD damage?. Scott, is this place a gold mine of cheap parts or is it a place that should be avoided at all costs?. I could see purchasing some ram or other parts if they have manufacturers warranties, because you could just RMA the bad parts and get brand new ones directly from the manufacturer.

They are probably just over-simplifying the description, properly designed RAM should work with any chipset supporting the specification. I wouldn't touch that no-name stuff myself, I'd recommend one of these instead. Scott.

What about the plastic sandwich bag thing?. What do you think about that?. They also have a lot of other electronics sold really cheap. Brands I've never heard of for CPU coolers, laptops and other products. So do you think it makes more sense to stay away from a place like this all together then?.

I didn't look at anything else as it didn't appear to be worth the time. Scott.
