>I have your 17th edition Upgrading and Repairing PCs, and the 16th CD.
They were very helpful in my first construction of a PC - thanks.
Thanks for your support!
>You showed and referred to a chassis-mounted front panel audio module that
could be installed in the front of the cabinet 3.5" space. I searched
Newegg, Fry's, Foxconn, and Asus (my motherboard shows a connector) for
this item, but have not found it. Do you know of a source for this? Thank
you, Don Janeway
You can find several choices for Front Panel USB/1394/Audio modules at
NewEgg:

However my favorites are sold by Intel:
Front Panel USB/1394-AB/Audio 3.5" Module

Front Panel USB/1394-A/Audio 3.5" Module

These Intel versions (made by FoxConn) include individual 10-pin connectors
(easy to plug in) for USB/1394/Audio instead of the extremely irritating
and troublesome multiple single-pin connectors used by most others. Scott.
