Hi Scott-

I used to have a Zen Creative MP3 player. I would hook up the audio output to an 1/8" stereo jack to the input on my car radio. I would do it while charging it.

It burned up the MP3 player after 1 hour. I thought that the power was somehow leading to an audio ground and that's why it burned out.

Do you think I would have the same problem with my IdeaPad A2107A-F?

That sounds like a faulty design or perhaps a short somewhere. Normally there should be no problem connecting an audio out while charging a player, tablet or other device. Scott.

Yeah, I thought so too. I feel a lot better about plugging it in after running it by you though. I will post something here again if I have any problems. Thanks, Scott.
