 Post subject: I found something that is seems not right DDR3L

I have notices some laptops now comes with DDR3L what does the L stand for?
I still have not seen any computer laptop or desktop computer that use DDR4 yet.

I hear that windows 10 run super great the latest cpu and ram.

Standard DDR3 modules run on 1.5V. DDR3L modules run on a lower 1.35V in order to conserve a little power. Note that DDR3L modules are backwards compatible with DDR3, meaning they can run on 1.5V as well as 1.35V so they can be used in systems requiring DDR3 memory. On the other hand DDR3 modules are not forward compatible with DDR3L, meaning they will not run properly on 1.35V and should not be installed in systems requiring DDR3L memory. Scott.
