I bought a new SanDisk Mobile Ultra PLUS 32GB Class 10 microSDHC Memory Card.

I got it at WalMart. I scanned the back of it and got the serial numbers and also scanned the front. I got online with a SanDisk tech support person and it checked out as authentic. I then checked it out with h2testw. It failed and gave the following output:

Error writing file 'F:\2.h2w', offset 0x1cf00000.
It is still possible to verify the test data written up to this point.
(The system cannot find the file specified. Code 2)
Writing speed: 13.7 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

I am using a SanDisk card reader, a SanDisk MobileMate microSDHC USB 2.0 card reader.

Now when I plug it in under Windows 7 or Ubuntu linux the system can't even see it.

What do you think I should do?

I would return it for a replacement or a refund. Let me know how it goes. Scott.

I tried a new reader and managed to get the computer to recognize the card.

I formatted with something called "SD formatter 4.0" rather than the native formatting software on Windows. This time it passed h2testw so I'll go with that from here and see how it works.

Thanks,
Bob
