With only 2GB of RAM it would run them very slowly, unbearably so for many people. With 4GB it would run them a lot faster, but still may be trying to use. Either 7 or 10 should be better than Vista though. <g> Scott.

Do you think this computer could handle windows 7 basic?
Do you think this computer can support DDR2 4GB of ram or
Do you think this computer can support 8 GB of DDR2 4gb in slot A and 4gb in slot B

And windows vista is no longer supported by Microsoft... I think I can still get the sp2 and do all the windows updates to I think April of 2017...

I found out something The new bios A17 don't support anything higher then 2GB but if I downgrade to A09 then it will support 2gb plus 2gb of ram giving it about 3.25gb or ram.
i could upgrade the cpu to T2700 @ 2.33 GHz, and then add a SSD into. I just love this laptop computer. Even tho at times it piss me off with the cold boot and it was the video card all the long lol But I repair the old video card.

Thanks.

I recommend iinstalling Windows 7 or 10 as a trial to see how well it works. What might be unacceptable to others you may be fine with. Scott.
