Scott I just wondering I have the T420 thinkpad lenovo ok I put a SSD as my main hard drive with the windows 7 pro ok this is what I want to know is having the SSD in my laptop computer along with a 500GB Hard drive does the the hard disk drive cause the computer to slow down. I just want to know cause I heard Carey holzman was talking about it.

rather then listen to him all the time and also google it

I just want to get an answer from you the master himself.

by having a SSD as the main hard drive along with the HDD as a storage does that HDD cause the computer to slow down.

The HDD will slow down a computer only when the system is reading or writing to the HDD. Normally I would recommend having the OS, applications and data on the SSD, with the HDD being used only for backup. In that case the only time the HDD would be slowing down the system is during the backup procedure. Scott.
