Hi Scott,

I can't get my HP Pavillion dv6000 webcam work. It has no short cut icon either on the desktop or under All programs. Neither does it appear in "Computer" -My Computer nor in the Control Panel under Scanners and Cameras. It appears in the device manager though!

Thanks Mike,

I saw the link and I think it might be a driver problem. It's gotten a yellow exclamation point in the device manager that was not there previously. I'll try updating the webcam drivers automatically online. I've tried to test it using the "Q" touchpad just next to the power button to launch Quicktime player, but I didn't see the webcam.
