You'll find more detailed information on the Fujacks virus here:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/refere ... Outlaw.pdf
http://tinyurl.com/2qwbap

I generally use and recommend AVG Free: http://free.grisoft.com

I recommend you ask Grisoft whether AVG can detect and/or remove Fujacks, let me know what they tell you.

Another anti-virus program that may remove Fujacks is AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic: http://www.free-av.com

I have not used AntiVir, let me know what you think if you try it. Scott.

Hi Scott,

I've tried to look for Grisoft's email address(contact address) on their web site, in vain. Could you please help me with their contact address.

For a free version of AntiVir, apparently am downloading that copy, I'll keep you posted about how everything comes together.

Thanks, Kit Emma

Hi Scott,

Well, I've downloaded Antivir and I used it to scan my computer! Guess what! It detected the following virus:HTML/Dldr.Agen.QV.7 that AVG Free Edition had skiped. However, it has not detected any "fujacks virii", presumably there are no "fujacks virii" attacks in my computer!

Thanks. Kit Emma

I know this is old but

The AVG don't do well in finding viruses which that software I been using for a long time now I have switch over to Vipre internet security 2015 and you paid for it once and get free lifetime support and updates and free software updates for the life of the computer. you can order is from www.hsn.com at times you can get 10 licenses for 10 computers that is a great deal.

So that I would thorn that will end the viruses and to boot get the fixmestick over there to on www.hsn.com

enjoy
spiderman.

I don't use the free antivirus software anymore.
