My Windows 7 pro system crashed today. After I clicked my username to log in and typed my password. It just went to a black screen with just the mouse pointer showing thats it. I tried ctrl+alt+del with no success. Finally had to press the reset button. It restarted fine but I can't find anything in the even viewer to indicated there was a problem. The only thing in there related is a critical error saying that I didn't cleanly shut down windows.

Everything is running fine now. Just wish windows would have given me a log of what happened. By the way, I like event viewer in Windows XP much better!. This new version seems to over-complicate things. Or maybe I'm just not used to it yet....
