I hope this isn't too off-topic, Scott, but I'm having problems with that ImgBurn software you recommended. I've tried to test-write a .cue file onto a CD-R (I didn't write for real because I didn't want to create a coaster), but the operation failed. Here's output from the log:

You are correct in that this is off topic for the forum here. All I would suggest is to try a different file, disc, and/or drive. If that doesn't help, take this up on the ImgBurn forum, and let me know what you find out in the end. I'll leave this topic open so you can post the results. Scott.

I did use ImgBurn to successfully burn an .iso file onto a CD-R disc.

Scott, I've managed to successfully burn three .cue files onto CD-R discs using ImgBurn. Apparently the software's "Test Mode" has "issues."

I tried test-writing to 4x CD-RW media using a different drive, and here's what I got:

That LIGHTNING UK! guy on the ImgBurn forumsays in that one thread that "Test Mode" is "pretty much a waste of time." Check the thread.
