I don't know I tried using it once for about a day and quickly went back to Windows XP. Never understood the hub-bub from all the Linux fans.....

Yeah it is hard to topple a monster like Windows, but I think it a great alternative (especially Ubuntu and Mint distros) for those who want a super stable and safe OS for no cost. I use Ubuntu and XP and love them both.

Interesting article, now that IT is getting smaller, I wonder if we are one step away from devices that plug into a docking station to access screens,printers etc

You take the device with you, plug it in to your home station at home and also your work docking station.

With broadband at either end, working from home becomes almost as natural as at work!
