 Post subject: Moveing data from xp to 7

Hi

Which way would be best and quickest to move all files etc on a 350 hdd from old pc running windows xp home to new pc windows 7 professional on a 2tb hdd

Probably the easiest and fasted method would be to attach the old drive to the new system (either internally or via an external eSATA/USB dock). Then you could drag or copy (or Robocopy) the desired files over. If the old PC is being retired you could even just leave the old drive in the new system as a second drive. Scott.
