Hi,
I would like some info on Virtual Machines for Windows 7 64-bit and Linux Ubuntu 64-bit I want to run various OS on both of these (legacy windows 95,98,2000,NT4) + Server 2003 & 2008 and other like OS-X, OS/2 and Linux XP distro (I dual-boot between Win7 and Ubuntu) -- if you wondering why so many is mostly to help with my studies, and to play around with some legacy OSes just for fun --- What is currently the best VMs for Win 7 / Linux Ubuntu; I've heard of a few, but i'm new to this: VMWare Workstation 8.0 i've heard is very good but is it difficult to work with? any other good ones that is easy to work with / user friendly ? QEmu?, DOSBOX?
Then I would also like to know if it is possible to install Windows 8 beta (developer preview) on a virtual machine or if not possible Dual boot it with my other OSes ??
Will the virtual machines perform better on Linux or on Windows ???
