Scott, I'm trying to reload Windows Vista Home Premium x64 on a Toshiba notebook. It has only one HDD, but two HDD connectors. When I try to run the installation disc, I get a message that says "Windows is unable to find a system volume which meets its criteria for installation."

After searching for this, I found some info covering it, http://www.ditii.com/2007/07/24/what-if ... -criteria/ and http://news.softpedia.com/news/What-To- ... 0804.shtml. I have done what these sites have suggested, but still get the message. What should I do now?

Microsoft covers that problem in the following KnowledgeBase article: You cannot select or format a hard disk partition when you try to install Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

There they list several methods for solving the problem. Let me know which one of the methods works in this case. Scott.
