Despite what says, I can't see a Java icon in the Windows XP Control Panel. I recently installed Java 7, and I would like to disable jqs.exe since it might be causing power-management problems for me at the moment. Scott, can you help me?

Scott, should I bother paying for Java 11? I currently have Java 8 installed on my usual desktop PC. After all, I do use LibreOffice.
