Scott, I tried to install Windows XP Home Edition on a certain laptop using a customized installation disc. However, I got a message that read: "The file VSTXWDC.SYS could not be found." I still have the "elements" or whatever that I used to create the ISO file that I burned onto the disc. Can you possibly help me out, Scott? BTW, check this out.

If a standard unmodified disc works, then most likely something went awry with your customization process. Scott.

Check this and this out, Scott. Should I even bother trying to integrate storage drives from driverpacks.net using nLite? Sadly, DriverPacks BASE appears to be useless now.

DriverPacks BASE works perfectly for me. Scott.

I deleted DriverPacks BASE 10.06 from the standard "Downloads" folder. I reinstalled it in a different folder and put 7Z files containing drivers I had downloaded from driverpacks.net into the "DriverPacks" folder utilized by DriverPacks BASE 10.06. The program managed to successfully integrate the drivers. I successfully used a newly created installation disc for two laptops. Problem solved!
