 Post subject: Windows Vista Problem

Sir,
Someone has just helped my friend to install
window vista ultimate on his laptop.
After it finished running post, it hang for between
15 and 30 minutes before bringing up the cursor and
Windows. Pls what should we do to solve this problem

If it is a new installation there may be delays at boot due to missing drivers, Windows Updates, or other initialization issues. Let me know what happens after the latest drivers, updates, applications, etc. are installed. Scott.

The problem has now been resolved.
He has formatted the system and install vista ultimate from his own compact disc.
It doesnt hang again after running post.
Its like the problem with the system then was that the previously used disc doesnt have the necessary drivers and initialization files for non delayed booting or that they are not installed.
