I have read this and this, Scott. A certain registry key (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\PowerPolicies) is missing subkeys 0, 3, and 4. Is there any good way to get those subkeys back?

I would export them from a known-good system into a .reg file, then use that file to import the missing keys on the problem system. I'd also look into how those keys were deleted in the first place. For example if you know about when it happened, check to see what software had been installed around that time as well as internet or other activity. Let me know if you find the cause. Scott.

Unfortunately, Scott, I don't know when the missing subkeys disappeared. However, I've managed to successfully import them from another PC.
