Scott I haven't used or downloaded this application in years. However, my wife was doing a job related survey and needed to install quick time. So I went and downloaded quick time alternative. Apparently QTA hasn't been updated in years. When she went to the site after I installed QTA, it said that the plugin was out dated and was therefore a security risk. This was in chrome. Anyway for some reason in IE it didn't even ask for the plugin. It used Windows Media Player instead. Everything is working out right now so far. For future reference though, what happened with QTA?. I mean as far as it not being updated anymore. Also is their a "Quick Time Alternative" Alternative?.

I haven't used QTA in years. Instead I just install the K-Lite Codec Pack, which among other things enables the playback of QuickTime formats. Scott.
