Scott,
Mark Russinovich states here that it's safe to have cloned machines on a network as far as SIDs are concerned. But what other problems would it cause? In other words, I know it's bad practice to use, say, Arconis, imaged machines on a domain all from the same image, and that you should use sysprep, etc, to generalize the image. But why?

The main reason is to not have two machines with the same name on the network. Scott.
