A nonexpert user with, I think, a new computer (thus probably Windows 8 or 8.x) needs FilterKeys or Character Repeat Rate accessibility not for the whole keyboard but only for certain key caps. Is selectivity available?

Is there a forum that deals with Win accessibility?

Unfortunately I don't know much about FilterKeys or other accessibility features in Windows. A google search does turn up several accessibility forums so you might want to check there. You might also check AccessApps to see if any of the software there might be useful. Scott.

I missed them when I Googled before asking. I found one for Web accessibility, but not for OSes. Maybe I used the wrong search terms. I'll ask Accessify Forum.

I'll look at that program collection. Other than that, my guess on the substance is I'd have to do a serious hack to her computer's OS and I won't be around enough to catch it failing, so I guess the answer is no, this time.

Thanks.
