Hello
In windows 7 in normal mode I turned on safe mode with networking in msconfig and restarted the machine, but it just keeps rebooting round and round. I tried LKG and safe mode with command prompt but it keeps restarting. I can get to the command prompt from the advanced startup options. I tried to do a sfc /scannow but I get an error saying there is a system repair pending. I ran the command bcedit /enum /v and I can see that Safe boot = network.
I don't have a windows 7 64bit disk to reinstall windows. Is there a way I can turn of the safe mode with networking from the cmd prompt.

Thanks
Ford

I recommend using Autoruns to check for (and prevent) whatever is running at startup that is causing this problem. Other than that you may need access to a Win7 install disc so you can either use the System Recovery Options or reinstall from scratch. Let me know what you find, Scott.

Hello
Thanks for the links
I put in the product key but error is - the product key you entered appears to be for software preinstalled by the device manufacturer.....

Its a Dell Server, would I need to contact Dell?
I wonder if they would give me a disk.

Ford.

Hello
I fixed it.
Tried to run the system restore back about three times and that finally released the pending and the system was able to be rolled back to prior.
