 Post subject: Setting in Windows that protects against ransomware?

Scott, is it true that there's a setting in Windows that protects against ransomware? I ask because my dad caught something in the news about that.

There might be a setting for it in windows 10. But I would download the free malwarebytes
another good virus software is call VIPRE internet security if you go to www.hsn.com and order it there and then you get a lifetime support and free updates for life.

I already have Malwarebytes. No offense, spiderman, but I currently use Windows 7 Professional. Scott Mueller does not like Windows 10.

That is what i am using right now windows 7 pro. windows 7 and windows 7 pro only going to be supported until 2020. yeah I know Scott hates windows 10 and so do I worst o/s ever and so is windows 8 and windows 8.1.

one day we all will be on windows 10 sooner or later I rather later like in the year 2454 lol


Do you have windows defender enable?

The only true protection against malicious malware (as well as hardware failure, fire, theft, etc.) is to keep multiple backups. Scott.
