Scott are you running windows 10 yet or are you still using windows 7 pro. The reason I am asking when would be a good time to upgrade from windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro. If you all ready install windows 10 on one of your computer. I would like to know what the steps you took in installing windows 10 and what you disable and what you enable and how to make windows 10 more more safe and and protected and setting up the security and stuff.

Still running 7 Pro. Let me know what steps you take to "tame" Windows 10. Scott.

I hope windows 7 pro will have extend support from Microsoft because of all the bugs that windows 10 has.

and how bad windows 8 is.

If I could I would stay with windows 7 pro 64bit.

I just built a Win10 machine. I'm still working the bugs out (BIOS is blind to two of the three drives) but I'll let you know once I get things up and running. I just got my right knee totally replaced on Halloween so this is my recovery project so I don't go nuts.
I was going to skip 10 but then I found an article on how to take Windows Media Center files from Win7 and transfer them to Win10. I know it's probably a long shot but I have plenty of time to experiment.
I bought myself a HackRF One unit for Christmas and thought I'd set up a Software Defined Radio (SDR) on my new Win10 machine and see how it goes.
Happy Holidays All!
