Hi Scott,

Is it possible to upgrade Windows XP pro SP2 to Windows Server 2003 without loosing your files and application programs? Is it possible to make an in-place reinstallation with Windows XP pro SP2 to Windows Server 2003?

Thanks. kit

Windows XP to Server 2003 is not a supported upgrade path:

Even though it isn't supported, you may be able to make it work, you'll have to experiment to be sure. Let me know if you have any success. Scott.

Thanks.

Well, I'll have to try that out on a new computer without my important data/programs and see how everythings comes together! Kit
