Hi Scott,

Do you have any particular brand preferences when purchasing networking cable? I see that you've mentioned Monoprice.com before. Are monoprice cables pretty much equivalent to the higher priced, Belkin, Rosewill, etc cables sold on Newegg? Thought I'd double check as I want to get some Cat6 cabling for a gigabit upgrade.

All CAT6 cable should perform relatively the same, regardless of the brand. None of those companies actually make cable, they purchase it from (probably the same) cable manufacturers and resell it instead. I recommend getting the cable from Monoprice because they charge the least and their service is great. Scott.
