Scott, my friend's desktop uses the TP Link USB adapter to connect to the RV Park's network. She says it's been fine, but now I can't get a connect. It shows an excellent signal, but I just get the message it can't find the DNS Server. I tried using the TP Link software and then tried having Windows take over. Both have not worked. I then tried with my desktop and notebook and connected fine to the same network so it must be the TP link adapter?! BTW, she has xp on the machine.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks so much.

I would try the TP Link adapter on another system to verify whether it works or not. Alternately you could try another known-good adapter on the original system. Either way will isolate whether the TP Link adapter is defective or not. Scott.
