I suppose a lot will depend on how professional you want the setup to be and considerations such as the coverage required. I've got a basic set up which, judging by the links you posted, is probably what you're after. I have a Foscam camera
which is connected to my wireless router. I've had it for a few years and considered upgrading to one of these
for improved quality.
You should find that most, if not all, of these cameras will allow you to back up through FTP to a server of your choice. For access remotely you have the choice of either port forwarding or setting up a VPN to your router and connecting through that. I opted for the second option as I felt it was more secure and I wanted the VPN for other reasons. Obviously, after recent stories in the news
take care to add a strong password and keep the camera's firmware up to date, if you go down the port forwarding route. Lastly, IP Cam Viewer
, or something similar will allow you to check from Android mobile devices. They have an app on the Itunes store as well.
Hope this helps.
