Scott, I currently have two WiFi bands to choose from courtesy of Xfinity/Comcast. One band is 2.4GHz; the other is 5GHz. The desktop PC I usually use currently utilizes a adapter. Mozilla Firefox is my default browser. Curiously, if I'm not mistaken, pictures display properly on Firefox more consistently when I'm using the 2.4GHz than when I'm using the 5GHz band. When I use the 5GHz band, I often have to refresh the Firefox browser or clear cache from Firefox in order for a number of pictures to display properly. What could be the reason why this is the case, Scott?

What are the differences in propagation between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands? I suspect you will find your answer there. Scott.

Can the answer be found , Scott?
BTW, I should said in my previous post in this thread that I too often have to clear cache from Firefox in addition to refreshing the browser.

I think the answer has something to do with the shorter range of the signal for the 5GHz network. I do have walls and doors to deal with.
