 Post subject: ethernet cable for my dsl?

I just want to know scott is there is a limit on how long the ethernet cable can be before it starts to fail the ethernet cable is for the DSL modem to the computer.

Ethernet cable distance limitations are covered in the section titled "Cable Distance Limitations" in Chapter 18 (Local Area Networking) on p. 1177-1178 of Upgrading and Repairing PCs 18th ed.

If you read that, you'll see that for Fast (100Mbit) or Gigabit (1000Mbit) Ethernet, the maximum cable length is 100M (328ft.). Scott.
